Stephanie is an Evansville native who attended Mater Dei High School and played softball for the Screaming Eagles at the University of Southern Indiana on an athletic scholarship. She has extensive experience working in the field of colon and rectal surgery and is a tremendous asset to the practice. She specializes in procedure scheduling and day to day operations of the practice. She is known for having an infectious smile and laughter, kind demeanor, and great rapport with patients. She currently lives with her husband, Steven, and they have three wonderful children, two sons and a daughter. In her free time she enjoys coaching travel softball and spending time with her family.
Jinky born and raised in the Phillipines. She has a Bachelors Degree of Science in Food Technology (trust us, she can cook!). She emigrated to the US in 2003 and became a registered nurse in 2012. She has vast experience in GI and colon and rectal surgery. She serves as our office nurse, precertification specialist, assists in procedure scheduling, and performs an endless list of tasks that helps patients get what they need. She is part of Revenue Cycle Management as an inpatient and outpatient coding specialist - her goals are to improve all aspects of clinical documentation, coding and reimbursement. Jinky lives with her husband and daugher in Vincennes, Indiana and enjoys cooking, baking, and formulating food recipes. She loves to travel, not only for visiting famous destinations, but also for the gastronomic adventure!
Elaine hails from Oakland City and is our door greeter, front desk person, and wonderful smiling face of the office. She worked 22 years at Superior Maintenance Company at Toyota and decided to make the switch over to healthcare, for which it has been an overwhelming success. Elaine is known for her gentle approach, and kind and friendly attitude. She is excellent at her position and is beloved by all. She cherishes the opportinuty to learn something new daily. She loves spending time at home with her husband Dennis, and spoiling her 4 grandchildren.
Santiago loves playing guitar, pretending he's a rock star, snowboarding, running, playing soccer (he thinks he's 25), and is an absolute travel junkie. He devotes his time to surgical mission work ever year in Monrovia, Liberia. When he's not too busy trying to have a little downtime he spends his time working at all three local hospitals as well as in Jasper Memorial Hospital in Jasper, Indiana. He specializes in cancer surgery, robotics, colonoscopy and many other benign diseases. He lives with his wife and two sons.
Samantha is an Indiana native with a wonderful story who worked her way through the ranks in health care in early 2005. Starting out as a certified surgical technologist and earing her associates and then bachelor's degree in nursing, she endeavored to reach her goal of becoming a nurse practitioner in 2020. Sam has extensive experience in colorectal surgery, working exclusively in the specialty since 2011. She has taken care of a large volume of patients in this field and continues to provide exceptional care as she has the distinction of being the only true dedicated colorectal surgery nurse practitioner in the entire tri-state region. Samantha enjoys being a mother to two wonderful daughters, having a loving partner at home, and camping and traveling with her family.
Brittany is an Evansville native who joined Evansville Colorectal Surgery early in its inception in 2023 and is a staple in our office. She is a certified patient care technician who works well beyond her title and continues to pursue her studies in nursing. She is a hard working mother of four lovely children and has dedicated herself to being an indispensible team member of the practice. When she's out in the real world, Brittany enjoys the simple joys in life - painting, gardening, cooking, and induliging in podcasts.
